He founded the company in 1999 anticipating the need for a wealth application which can provide flexibility, track-ability, and accurate reporting of investments. He has successfully defined and implemented a strong vision for Miles to make it amongst the leading provider of wealth and portfolio management solutions.

Sandeep Presswala
Executive Director

Sandeep is a chartered accountant by qualification and has over two decades of invaluable experience in the financial services industry across areas such as retail investment and brokerage, wealth management, project finance and investment banking. As a member of the core team and Executive Director of HSBC InvestDirect, he spearheaded the formulation of business strategy, products, channels, implementation & creation of a retail distribution network spread across 300 outlets in 90 cities delivering gross revenues of Rs 2 bn, resulting in a market capitalization of over Rs 15 bn.

Bhaskar Iyer
Chief Delivery Officer

Bhaskar has over 30 years of rich experience in the BFSI domain spanning across product management, solution architecting, delivery and program management, and customer support management. He is responsible for global delivery, driving excellence in customer relationship management and implementing best account and project management practices. Bhaskar was previously associated with Infrasoft Technologies for over 12 years in diverse roles managing local and international implementations across geographies.

Pradeep Paliwal
Chief Technology Officer

Pradeep has more than 17 years of experience in technology project management and product development. As CTO, he is responsible for the overall technology vertical which encompasses technical architects, IT infrastructure, SDLC processes and quality. Pradeep is an MBA from XIM and has an engineering degree from VJTI. Having worked with reputed organizations like Accenture and Polaris in senior level positions, his previous immediate assignment was with Rate Gain, a product company, in the capacity of CTO.

Dhawal Kamath
Products - Investment Management

Dhawal is one of the founding members of Miles. He has held a series of management positions in the company, including Market Development, Operations and Planning. He has wide experience in software planning and development, system analysis and system designing. Dhawal plays a key role in enabling adoption and incorporation of new technologies to the product suite and solutions.

Hemanshu Siria
Client Services

Hemanshu is one of the founding members of Miles, along with Milan and Dhawal. He heads client services for the company across geographies. He is responsible for managing the client experience post implementation and ensure that all SLAs are met with the same quality and speed of service. Prior to this, Hemanshu was leading the development and implementation function within Miles and was instrumental in building a robust MoneyWare product suite. Hemanshu has over 15 years of development, production support and management experience. He is passionate about technology and is involved in researching and creating the learning architecture for the organization.

Himanshu Maheshwari
Managed Services

Himanshu heads the Managed Services business that would be responsible for handling application, infrastructure and operations of a portfolio, wealth management and custody service provider. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, he has 12 years of experience in the capital market operations handling all types of investments across Depository, Broking, Wealth and Portfolio Management. He has also played a key role in various project implementations. He was previously associated with Merrill Lynch and JM Financial.

Sandeep Lalwani
Business Development

Sandeep spearheads the company’s interactions with enterprise customers. He has over 20 years of rich experience in leading marketing and strategic growth initiatives of software products and solutions organizations in Asia Pacific and Europe. He has worked with reputed organizations such as Arthur Anderson, Wells Fargo, H&R Block, Standard Chartered Bank, Deutsche Bank, Bankers Trust, Citicorp, Bank of India, and Krung Thai Bank among others.

Akash Anand
Global Business

Akash has over 15 years experience in private banking, asset management, insurance and business management. He was previously associated with Tata Asset Management handling their international business division. He has also worked with IL&FS Investsmart , Birla Sunlife and Max NewYork Life. He is a post graduate in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing from Symbiosis, Pune.

Ashish Bajaj
Products - Custody & Fund Management

Ashish heads strategy, product, services and support of Miles solutions for asset management industry. He has over 14 years of advance technology experience in IT application development, program management, account development, and relationship management & business development. Ashish is an IIM C alumni holding a degree in Senior Management Program.

Rakesh Sakaria
Chief Financial Officer

Rakesh is a qualified chartered accountant and is well experienced in the areas of accounting, finance, management and corporate advisory. He has an extensive background in management and finance of large companies. He has over 13 years of experience across diverse industries and has worked with large corporations such as Essar Group, McDonalds, and Tata Group.
